Hey, so what have been the big favorites for 360 over the past couple months? Been completely outta the loop and lookin' for that HQN insider brain-food.
Wiki-HQ: Ye olde internet version of a book of HQN histories.

i rented call of juarez bound in blood and its a really fun western shooter. it's been a while since i played a good western and it did the job well.
ghostbusters is really good if you liked/loved the movies.
prototype is fun for a while but can get too hard even on easy/normal modes
of course i have to pimp battlefield. the 1943 arcade game comes out tomorrow for 1200 msp ($15) its 3 maps with a 4th unlockable one. spiffy graphics engine and esplodey buildings with it.
that's pretty much it for the recent stuff im aware of/played

I agree on Prototype, especially the last few missions. I was playing on normal, and those last 2 (technically 4) ate up a shitload of time by replays. Still stupid fun to run around in. No MP though.
Red Faction is cool, as MP and SP are 2 different games basically. SP is kinda Free-for-all, destroy shit and take over areas. MP is an assortment of backpacks and wild weapons. J0k3r and I were playing a bit the other day, and he had much more appreciation for MP over SP play, as he felt it was too wide open (the SP).
We got that new transformers game via our buddy winning lotto. It's pretty crazy MP, and the single player is decent. Extremely better than the 1st tranformers game, per a huge transformers buff we play with. I'd prolly pick it up when the price dips down though. Level design, especially in MP, is pretty moderate in variety.
While I only played the demo, that XMen Origins Wolverine game looked and played awesome. I also SW: The Force Unleashed, but I'm in a crappy spot with my save, so I loose motivation to move forward too quickly.
The Point Lookout DLC for Fallout 3 is nice, as so far, all the enemies are quite strong, so you will have a high probability of death, instead of cruising around like a deity.
That's about it for my recently played. Kat was diggin on that Afro Samurai game, as it's a hack n slash. I have not loaded it up, as I figured I'd hijack it until GG'd.
To rehash the above in personal order of radness:
Prototype
Fallout 3 - Point Lookout DLC
SW: The Force Unleashed
Red Faction G.
Transformers
- and the rest, since I have not played the full games.
SW gets in higher than RF and Trans, as before I got to my shady point, I was loving the play and progression. Thanks to Spad, I will put that back in my primary game rotation pile.
I mentioned it before, and my 'most likely to never finish game', is Ninja Gaiden 2. The game looks excellent, but even on the n00biest setting, is too much for me. I concur that the projectile abuse by enemies is batshit insanity, on top of all the other madness you will encounter.

i should play SW:Force Unleashed some more as well
i'm only beginning the second mission .. so not far in at all
but it's a cool game.. too bad it's not more 'realistic' like Safe said
i didn't like the RF:G demo on ps3.. it felt like playing with a big elephant in a paper-/cardhouse .. everything you touched slightly, immediately broke apart in like 10442084 pieces.. it all felt too fragile
i'm still waiting on my copy of prototype (for ps3)
and fallout3, i'd rather play that on pc .. still awesome game btw
i have too many games to play now.. softmodded my wii, and i have a few 'backups' laying around collecting dust

Are there any good Wii games out there? Because I only use mine for GuitarHero at the moment. I didn't enjoy MadWorld for a bit for example.

He needs to be kidnapped and strapped into a chair and slapped with a big fish for 4 weeks.

X-Men Origins: Wolverine is out on PS3, I should get it
. It's rated M and 18 here, is it gory and violent like it should be?
@Pic0o, I'm playing through the Fallout 3 DLC packs in chronological order, broken steel is rad. The enemies are much much harder, I was losing motivation to play when I could one-hit everything with my repeater in vanilla fallout.
Looking forward to Mothership Zeta, a non-trashed environment will be sweet.
