Ok, there

are many topics and emails about how to get files on the site that are larger than 8 MB.

Basically, you'll have to either email them to us or give us a link to download it from.

I already tried angelfire for my Metal band's site The BlackBlades at
href='http://www.angelfire.com/clone/blackblades' >
http://www.angelfire...one/blackblades and they

only hold up to 2 megs. Posted Image

You could try IMing them to a friend to have them upload them, or IM them directly to

Mysterial.

Heh, I

just joined the team, and will be happy to take files over messenger services. I use AIM, so look for

TicKisMiKe... you won't find me much elsewhere.

To the guy with OE and Comcast, it's not OE,

and there's no way you can fix the limit, it's comcast blocking anything over 1MB... :)

Why

don?t you guys just make a new button in the main page for downloads bigger than 2MB? it would be alot easier.

I've

asked JeT about this "issue" before. Apparently his hands are tied up by his system admin (?) who won't

allow the uploads to be above 2mb. This is unfortunate since I've seen a few other sites that allow up to

like 40mb.

I think if we could get it to at least 10-15mb we would be better off since most files I

would say are generally in this range of size.

Yeah

it's a setting in php.ini (the PHP config file), and it can't be bypassed unless u have access to the

server system folders Posted Image So u'll have 2 keep

relying on IMs to get 2+MB on UT2003HQ Posted Image

So for files Bigger than 2Mb we have to email Cannon or Xenocide ein? I used to email JeT, sorry dude Posted Image.

Gonna start poping skins again cos I have more free

time for myself hihihi. They are usually around 2 to 3MB with just one skin, a pack I released had 5.8MB but

one I?m preparing is gonna be like the double of that.

How

would I go about posting a skin that is compressed within UEd and then compressed with winzip and its file size

is still 40mb large?

What

level of compression did you apply in UEd? That sounds way too big - how many textures?
